Bad morale affects a player’s rating just like in the NBA 2K games. This means you won’t be getting full value in return when you ship off an angry player. Each player has interactions with other players too. Certain guys interact with each other better than others, and players will develop cliques and even have best friends. For instance, the Sedin twins are best friends. If they become friends with Higgins and some other Canucks, it will list their preferred teammates. Player relationships carry over in free agency and trades. If you reunite good friends their morale goes up.
Players who are new to NHL 16 can learn how to play faster in the actual game thanks to the On-Ice Visual Trainer. This is a new in-game mode that teaches users how to play and what to do using on screen visuals. As you learn the basics the game will adapt and start to show you more advanced On-Ice Visual Training prompts that will help you improve even more. This is an exciting addition to NHL 16 that should help new players enjoy the game more. “One of the oldest and most iconic traditions in hockey has arrived,” EA’s blurb states.
